Developers of the Uncharted franchise, one of the most successful to launch on the Playstation 3, made an announcement today in which they state "The Playstation 3 could not sustain another installment of Uncharted". The announcement went into details about plans the developers had to improve the franchise but the current technological capabilities of the Playstation 3 would not be able to support such plans. This was a shocking announcement to the industry, with many of the experts arguing that the Playstation 3 has yet to be pushed to its true limits suddenly silenced by this information. What does this mean for me or you? The release date for the Playstation 4 is going to come sooner than most people are expecting.

I don't know man, PSX (1994), PS2 (2000), PS3 (2006), so if they will continue their every 6th year release, it should be kinda right

I really hope the ps4 doesnt come out soon. Doesnt seem like theres much of a point.

I hope it comes out tomorrow I want 1080p 3d games, I want to be able to have better character models without sacraficing customization options, I want better close in visuals at a faster refresh rate than 30fps on MOST titles. I want developers to have new dev kits so they don't have to complain as much about time constraints as they are having to figure out what to limit on a game to make it fit on the disc like naughty dog had to with uncharted 3 and guerrilla games had to with killzone 3. And Sony santa monica had to leave off in in GoW 3. I hope a new system comes out sooner rather than later.
