An update to the PlayStation 3 system software was released on 1st November 2016. If you update your PS3 system, the system software version will be 4.81 and the following features will be updated. In order to download PS3 system software version 4.81, you will need a minimum 200MB of free space on either the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (System Update) or on removable storage media (PC Update).

Does NOT affect:

- 4.50 ITA DEX users
- 4.70 REBUG D-REX(DEX) users
- 4.75.3 REBUG D-REX(DEX) users

- 4.80 REBUG D-REX(DEX) users

For those wondering i'm on 4.80 REBUG D-REX(DEX) and can still sign in so it appears this doesn't affect DEX users. I've added that bit of info to the original post. If anyone else can sign in post what CFW you're on and i'll add it as well

I'm on 4.75.3 REBUG D-REX(DEX) and can sign it without problems .
