Dis community (lol)
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); We've all seen screenshots of the PS4 bearing the grub bootloader. Yes that was a devkit, but sony confirmed that the PS4 that comes off the shelves at the stores has that good ol' FreeBSD code still running. Why does this matter? Well there's a reason why it's called FreeBSD. The original BSD license allows the software to be considered closed or proprietary, but on the other hand FreeBSD's license is a by the people for the people based on RMS or Dr.Richard Stallmans' ideas which is any aspect of the software can be modified as long as you credit FreeBSD and Sony in this case.
