Okay, before I begin doing the thread. I want notify everyone, yes, i'm going to C&P. This is probably the only thread i'm going to C&P JUST because it is a tutorial. Everyone that is a Dev or looking foward to it, they can just use this for the moment. No I take no credit at all. Okay so lets begin with the tutorial by D-ecks
You’ll need:
- USB flash drive
- USB keyboard
- Internet connection
What to do:
- You will need to You must login or register to view this content.
- Download the You must login or register to view this content.
- Format usb stick to FAT32
- Copy downloaded files at the root of the usb stick
- Insert usb stick into PS4

- Get to PS4 WebKit Playground (You must login or register to view this content.) using ps4 browser (or google it).
- You must login or register to view this content.
- Click Load! in Linux loader box
- PROFIT.

If you want do something in console, connect a usb keyboard

Troubleshooting:
- “Not Enough System Memory” error when trying to launch linux:
- Make sure you’re on firmware 1.76. The exploits have some hardcoded values that will not work on lower firmwares. You can get the You must login or register to view this content.
- If you’re on 1.76 but still have the issue, You must login or register to view this content. that you reboot your PS4 before trying again.
- Others say you might have to go into safemode: safemode [Initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)] with the PS4UPDATE.PUP (RECovery) You must login or register to view this content.
- How do I access the browser on PS4 1.76 without updating?
- There are two ways, You must login or register to view this content.
It is NOT my fault if any of you mess up your PS4 by running Linux on it! Use it at your own risk NextGenUsers! Hope this helps you all!

Most if not all of these have 1.76 installed if they are sealed. Be aware though some of the newer ones even when sealed will have firmware higher than 1.76. I bought a knack launch day bundle sealed (One of the earliest bundles) just in case.
