TheoryWrong has now released his 3.55 File Manager Browser for the 3.55 Firmware users. Real nice release for the community, and big thanks to the developer sharing it to the community for other devs (including everyone else). This text below was written by the developer himself explaining/conveying the File Browser. In addition, Youtuber Lucii has shown a video of the 3.55 File Manager Browser with MrV1rus's uploads!

People need to realize things as complex as rooting a system and breaking out of a jail are not these trivial things that just happen overnight. Nobody wakes up and goes "Today I'm going to start and finish a jailbreak for the PS4!". These things take time - weeks, months, even years. Not only do you have to find a vulnerability to even exploit, but you have to also write an exploit that doesn't just crash the system, as there's so many working parts involved that the payload has to be crafted so precisely that it manages to overwrite certain parts of data while not breaking everything to allow the full execution to finish. It's not easy in the slightest.

Yeah I know. I was just thinking it'd be weird if there was a new exploit released for 3.55. As how PS3 did.
