Hello NextGenUpdate, so today we have some more news to follow up on. PS4 Developer J0lama has released their PS4 .PUP Extractor Tool, but we are still trying to figure out if they cloned the exact same one by a well known Developer on NextGenUpdate, Red-EyeX32. PS4 Dev j0lama physically stated:

"Application PUP extract data from files and perform PS4 dumps internal files.

It is a simple application to extract data and information from different files update PS4 (PS4UPDAT.PUP). With this application you will see how many files side is formed the original PUP file, various data about them (name, size and direction in the beginning) and be able to dump the subfiles.

Here you have an image and a video program demo test with version 3.55"

This developer says that he didn't copy the code PS4 Developer Red-EyeX32, and didn't JUST redesign the tool. He roughly quotes stating: "I don't use his code. As the program say, all credits go for skfu for his ps4 pup research. PS: I release the tool one day before ;p

Now as far as I know, I don't know who/when/where the first PUP Extractor Tool was created. The only big known first resource I known of is Red-EyeX32. Clearly this sounds pretty big going into beef, but i'm pretty sure we are mature enough to just explain about things, and leave it at that. New/Cloned at least we have something we could use.

PS4 Dev J0lama also conveyed to us that he has modded trophies running on 1.76 firmware OR he modded his XMB just like Senaxx did with his multiMAN thumbnail on his XMB. We don't really know yet, but he did explain how to edit it with FTP:

"With FTP edit: user/home/user_number/trophy/data/sce_trop/trpsummary.dat"

Wtf happen to my thread

Guys, sorry for the misunderstanding! I have fixed the thread luckily I had a save of the BBCode of my thread, so thank god I could fix the entire thread that got cut in half!
