Most games will work but there's few games doesn't work at all...from what I read...me personally I updated to 5.5 I need online..there only a few games that won't work ..monster Hunter is one of them

I went with this version as well since I had an Amazon gift card and only a US account. Updates are as immediately as the european version since they are on the same server, the only thing missing is outside US save support, which is still semi supported since you can resign saves from other countries with it. I've been using european saves on my US PSN account without issue by re-signing.
Basically, if you primarily only play US games, you're good with this version. You won't be missing out on anything.

it's even worse with mh world 22nd march event happening and the new update too, i will crack and update on the 22nd i know i will and i'm sure i won't be the only one lol
