So what? It´s common sense that every new firmware update changes encryption of saves etc. Thus, it´s simple logic it takes time for the SW team to crack every new encryption and make it work. There´s no point in asking every 2 hours when it´s going to be done. It´s done when it´s done. period.

you have to remember some people just brought sw and they can't use the SW at all because they don't have a 5.05 save to activate there account on SW ....be nice if SW can keep us in the loop abt the progress. Like a daily update..then maybe less people will keep asking when is it going to be done..that's all..

I understand what you´re saying and can basically understand when people get impatient but as I said with each new fw the SW team has to do quite some work. Yes, we paid but that doesn´t mean the SW team has to give out every detail every 2 seconds about how far they are with the new update. I think people just need to be a little more patient, just play another game and after 2-3 weeks everything is as before. Besides, there is now an update from the SW team.

It's probably worth noting that the SW team spent the first what was it, week? More than a weeK? Just replying to people and catching up on emails and other support ticket items instead of being able to devote that same time and resouces to figuring out 5.50.
Also worth pointing out that this does not happen every firmware update, just the big ones. Only twice so far. 5.00 and 5.50. Went through a number without issue before 5.00, and 5.01 through 5.05 before the big leap to 5.50. Those are the 2 where Sony's deliberately changed save encryption. They can't do that with every firmware update unless they go all Enigma Machine on us.
