By 'in game music' do you mean like being able to listen to your own music while playing a game? If so, I'm sure you will still be able to do it you just won't be able to rip songs off of cds to put on your ps4. So like the others have mentioned, you could just transfer them to the ps4 using a USB.

WHAT!?! No CD's? Sorry Sony, you just lost a customer. lelwot. I totally forgot all about CD's over the past 6 years. Didn't even know people still talked about them, let alone use them for ripping.

What won't support in game music? My PC's cd drive is broken and I can still listen to music while doing anything...

cant remember the last time i used a cd do people still use them, the future is usb and digital downloads bring on the ps4

I have never really seen anyone use a CD to listen to music on their PlayStation now a days. People now just use Youtube etc. Adding support for CD's would just be a waste now in my honest opinion.
