Who’s Jim Erased?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Demonstrating a Kinect-like interface, Microsoft rep Jonathan Cluts cycles through a series of icons on Channel 4 News on UK television. So far, so ordinary perhaps, but take a closer look at those icons. Can you see the one that clearly says 'Halo 5'? It's for an application entitled 'Inside Halo 5'. Interesting!

Now, if we consider Halo: Reach as Halo 4, then could Halo 5 be the as-yet unconfirmed Halo title under development at 343 Industries? Chances are that these are merely entertaining placeholder icons put in by the developers of the prototype digital wallpaper tech being demonstrated, which also notably shows a Project Gotham Racing symbol to the left of the Halo 5 one. Make of that what you will.

Obviously time will tell whether this apparent slip-up reveal is at all credible, or just an in-joke on Microsoft's part. It does seem a little too careless to expose a sequel to its biggest franchise on national television, but then again, stranger things have happened. Take a look at the news snippet below to see the offending footage.

Also I'm pretty sure that Bungie can't even make Halo games anymore.

Well Bungie do own the rights to Halo so i would guess they could.

But they did say reach was the last game from then (Halo Series)
