well its not "free" cuz you have to spend atleast 700$. but those 700$ are for a new computer!

Microsoft is having a back to college sale:

it is only available in the US at the moment, but it is expected to be in UK and France in the upcoming months.

this offer is valid at participating retailers such as Best Buy, Dell.com, Hp.com and Microsoft Stores.

Microsoft will be giving eligible students the $199 4GB Xbox 360, its lowest-priced game console.

To be eligable you must have a .edu email address or have a college ID and be 16-19 years old.

The Apple MacBook and iPod deals are better as a MB is awesome, a HP/Dell etc isn't.

its the same exact deal.
with apple you get a macbook +$200 ipod
with microsoft you get computer +$200 xbox
