So I do that and I then have to restore it so I start restoring it and it reaches 100% and then all it says is waiting for ipod?
It will say this then and wont stop.

Weird, i have no idea. I broke my ipod once by jailbraking wrong once and all that we needed to do was plug it into a mac, did you try this?

Try going on the apple website or googling your problem. When my Ipod broke i just googled the problem and found a way to fix it

Another good way is to call Apple and tell them your problem, they will help
