Not necessary DEX Firmware , the Rex edition is partial of Debuf Firmware OFW , only that isn't DEX firmware at full . The REX edition allows to change some of debug settings ( like Boot Mode ecc ) , necessary for fix the stats

You can use my software with CCAPI Connexion but just you need have PS3 ( dex ) ^^
