My character was only level 1337 and they fucked the game towards where you can't be higher then 50 again.

So I'll try to "RE-MOD" it, but I don't know if it'll work cause of the new update TODAY:

You don't lose the items it just says 400/27 only lose them if you drop them because won't let you pick them back up. My Main char has 480/27

Ah phew. See I thought they were gonna leave the mods alone. Has anyone gone through the editor to find out exactly what we can/can't mod now?

You can mod your level but it stays at level 50 it will say you are level xxxxx but when go in the menu it will say level 50 and won't allow you to equip any items over level 50.

Can't mod the monster levels now which i loved that made it more fun make level 1000 chars vs level 1000 monsters.

If you are wearing items higher level then your char they will be deleted but inventory won't.

See I don't mind about the character levels. I'm more worried about the ammo capacities, bag slots etc. I only have my lvl 127 for xp farming and item carrying, but I have all my toons at 50 now so it's not too bad.

Looks like max backpack is 27 again which is horrible.

Yep . Guess I'm keeping my PS3 offline till I'm done with all of my TVHM play throughs. This is just silly really.

I also cannot load my lvl 51 character any more, I am modding it back to 50 and will try again, I hope the skill points mod does not keep you offline, kus that would suck.

You could bypass the patch which would allow you to keep using your modded characters i just did it with a patch blocker i downloaded and i'm still online.

I can confirm that putting my character back to 50 using the game genie let me back online.
I still have the following things modded:
Maxed out skill points - WORKING
Overstocked (not modded) bank in sanctuary - WORKING
400 million badass rank - WORKING
modded ammo capacity - WORKING

if anyone figuers out if it is possible to be above level 50 anymore please post exaclty how to do it, when I was 51 my character would not load into the hosts game, it just kept saying " sending character data to host...... " and never loaded.
