It's prone because if he were really in a 2nd chance position, it would display the "coward out" option on the screen.

I noticed yesterday when i played on my bro's account as i knifed someone i got shot and still had my main gun but it didnt stick, after a second or 2 it changed to pistol. Maybe someone wants to try it?
