My Laptop connects to the wifi but and it says it has internet access but when i try using steam or a browser it wont connect to anything and i get error pages.
Its not the router because i went to two of my friends and it will only work if its connected via a ethernet cable and all of their wireless electronics work and there is no password access.

Can anybody help me?

Is it just your computer that will connect, but won't go on the internet at all? I had this problem some time ago. If you have nothing important on it, or if you do, back it up, reset it to default. This worked for me. Maybe it'll work for you?
