Now that I have got it back I marked it as 'recovered/found' however my phone keeps saying 'emergency calls only' or 'no service' or 'error connecting to network'. My sim works in any other phone and I have also tried other network sims.

Can anyone help me as I have not called my carrier(network) to get it blocked or blacklisted.

You most likely would need to contact your carrier. What likely happened is that these companies that you reported it stolen to also reported it to your carrier.
