According to the guy who makes the script hook (Alexander Blade) - R* implemented a system which checks for any ASI and scripthook.dlls in the install folder and reports back to them. This was included in patch 350.1.

This is why people using the FOV fix have been banned as if they were using hacks of some sort.

There's meant to be some code which also reports back what mods you're using in singleplayer.

On that note - the new Scripthook will fully prevent you going online with it. In order to go online, you've got to physically move or delete the ASI and scripthook from the install folder.

Then what are you going to do once they ban your CD Key on the 3rd strike (first: 2 weeks, second: Month, third: Perma)? You won't be able to even launch GTA at that point since it does a Key Check to make sure it's valid. If you use the 3DM version, you can only join GTA Online Lobbies with other pirates and won't be able to import or use your character.
