Last BB I owned was the Bold and it was pretty good. Good for texting and messaging/email. But I couldn't go back to a non-touch screen after having the iphone and all.

I don't recommend the BB, I have an old curve 8330. Unless you have a lot of friends that use BBM then u should get a BB, but iPhones and HTC or Samsung Galaxy are much better. BBM's not that efficient and theres very few good free apps. BBs were primarily targeted at business people (which is why I have it) but later were spread to regular consumers. So its really not a good choice if you don't care much for emailing or microsoft office, but then again you can still do that on touch screen phones.

Also you can't save apps on the memory card, only media files. The BB hard drive are also small so there's not enough space for a lot of apps. And if you're interested in jailbreaking your phone, then BB is definitely not the way to go.
