I have made a calculator!
It's just something I made in my free time and it's one of my first programs.

This is very nice, you could try and clean up the GUI a little bit and have the Labels changed to the values being used. But otherwise nice work.

GUI (as Sloth said) could do with a little clean up but other then that its good.

First, you need to either create exception handlers, try using try/catch. I input invalid values and it crashes the program.

The GUI could be cleaned up. You could simply add two textboxes and a combobox above them with the different options. If you want help, shoot me a PM and I'll help you.

I assume you are using returning integer values when you click the submit button in any field. If I input two values that would return a double (such as 5 / 2 ), it will completely take out the decimal.

In your calculator: 5 / 2 = 2

When in reality: 5 / 2 = 2.5
