All other folks, fire up your Editor of choice. As said, I'm going to describe it using the Garage Editor. You'll need TWO donor cars to hook up the values of the "sample" cars.. So maybe just insert 2 tickets for a car and redeem those two tickets in game.

Warning!
I'm going to describe how to add them on sheet A. So don't pick anything from your garage that isn't set to tuning sheet A!
If you just inserted new tickets and did not play around with them in game, you're ready to go..

Once your done with redeeming/adding two donor cars, reload your savegame into the Garage Editor.

Go into the "garage" tab. Select your first "donor" car (from YOUR garage on the right side).
Change the values on the right side if they differ (by clicking into the value field and typing) as follows:

Ok. Once your done with typing endless colons of hex wizardry stuff for those two "donor" cars, close your garage. Reload your savegame onto the PS3.
Directly select your first donor car from the garage in game. You'll see the color sample rotating.

Don't jump on it, you're not done yet!

Go to settings. Go to settings-sheet. Yeah, it is quite reasonable and not much what you see there. Don't worry. Copy over that setting sheet to setting B + C.

Close everything until you're back to your garage view (everything should be saved now by the game itself). Finally, re-select your "donor" car. Enter the "car".

You're done. The final "Wheel Color Sample" or "Car Color Sample" should show up as your "current ride"...

How to copy b + c?

Do it in game. Enter your donor car and copy over the settings sheet to setting B and C. Just like the Tutorial tells you to..

Hello, I have some questions regarding the two color sample cars and the XXXXXXX car.

1. The two color sample cars I have made both of them with the GT5 Garage Editor v1.3.1 thanks to this tutorial. In the garage thumbnail view the manufacturer is listed as the manufacturer of the donor car. Could someone please tell me what the maufacturer would be if you were able to generate a gift ticket for them then redeem the ticket in the normal way. ie: The manufacturer PD intended. Probably it will be Gran Turismo like the 5G.

2. When the two color sample cars are redeemed with a generated ticket are they standard or premium?

3. The XXXXXXX car when inserted directly into the SAVEDATA from GT5 Garage Editor v1.3.1 is listed in garage thimbnail view as being manufactured by Chevrolet. However when it is redeemed from a generated ticket made with GT5 Garage Editor v1.3.1 it is listed in garage thumbnail view as being manufactured by Gran Turismo. Which is correct please?

I am trying to get a handle on the true hex editing and I would like to try to generate a proper gift ticket for the two color sample cars myself but I am finding it very difficult to even learn to walk let alone run with the true hex editing. Mostly I would like to be able to redeem the two colour sample cars from a gift ticket so the origin country is not HYBRID as I really don't want any hybrids. I just collect original cars and try to tidy up my save with the editing.

3.) Gran Turismo is the correct manufactureur for it. When directly inserting it, I may have guessed the wrong manufacteurer for it.. I can't remember

As a rule of thumb: The tickets will ALWAYS give you what PD wanted/designed it to be..

I had already figured out the XXXXXXX by going into the secret menu and checking its manufacturer there.
