I am new to the page and need some help fixing my ps3. I was given it with the rsod. I don't know what software it is running. is there anything I can do to get it up and running please.
Anything would be greatly appreciated.

was it on dex or cex ?
try to install the same CFW the ps3 was on from recovery mode

Hi
I don't know what software it was on. I tried going to update system in recovery mode so think it put on 4.50. but not sure as when it got to 45% it jumped straight to 100%.

and after reaching 100% you still get RSOD?

Sorry but I don't know I bought it off of someone to see if I could fix it. It's a 40gb fat ps3 cechl03. If that helps at all

could you help; me fix mine i was on 4.46 cfw rebug dex and i put on a spoofer then after my ps3 restarted and i was rsod and i have tried reinstalling 4.46.1 d-rex eddition
