You have to find Button Monitoring, then you can definately change button layout.

Is that in some type of file? where is all of this button layout located do you think it would be in the games folder?

No, you can get the button monitoring address. You can use an application such as NetCheat to find the address...

Ahhh yes NetCheat I am currently having issues with it, you know how you need to plug in your Ethernet cable to the ps3 to connect it. well it says
you only have to do it once but every time the ps3 freezes, internet problem etc.... I would have to do it everytime. When using NetCheat where do you exactly find
the button monitoring address?

It's simply. While your running a scan, hold down any button while the scan is running. It should short list the button address. To save you time, what game are you looking for, since it's most likely already been released?

Couldn't fine any. Found some addresses though, you could decompile the EBOOT.BIN, to get the EBOOT.ELF which you can therefore use in IDA to update some addresses...

What addresses have you been able to find? And is that how they make modded eboots, by decompiling the eboot to elf, update elf then convert back to eboot?

Just, the usual: Heal addresses and such, not mine was on a thread on NGU. You can add addresses to an EBOOT.ELF with experience, I'm not sure on how to do it. But, yeah you decompile the EBBOT.BIN to the EBOOT.ELF
