i had this problem not too long ago.. make sure to back up your games or you will be pissed off.. but something corrupted files in your games can cause your system to shut down also.. to solve this problem I just updated my CFW and re-downloaded my games.. Good luck

Me too, I tried updating CFW and PS3 lived for other 3-4 months, than starting over again with YLOD
