I've got the same issue except I've rebuilt the database, restored the file system and switched to a lower cfw version; nothing's worked.

when you say try active, do you mean when you go to system activation or try to download a game off psn store on cfw? if so chances are you have a invalid cid, happened to me when i was trying to get last of us dlc, i had to swap to my real cid. example i was using the cid SONY PSID SEN in webman as my cid and when i when to active console it error-ed, but when i change to my consoles original cex cid it worked.
example of a invalid cid is since the update invalid cid's have worked, issue with this is it now lets people use the invalided dex cid which use to get the 224 error.

idk what you mean, i use the triangle option every time i use psn patch, but i have my cid and psid set in webman. but if you have original cid set you need to change the region to cex region, idk if psn patch does it for you or not if hit spoof as i never use it, on mine it just says my original cid then my real cid below where it say's current.

doubt that would be the issue, x is spoof and disable, Triangle is just disable. i don't even know what the spoof option does never used it. i set the original ofw id's in my webman, if you original cid is not banned just go to rebug toolbox and change EID to cex, then sign in. thats if your original cid works.

btw i seen you said something about going to ofw, don't do that, you will lose your jailbreak unless your have a duel nor setup and 2 hard drives.
