There is a thread showing people like me, with broken disc drives how to install a patch (through pkg) and the tut basically says in a nutshell, "Unpack it, put the FF in and repack simple as that" but when I try and repack I get THIS error.

    Illegal Package: Should contain at least one of NPDRM file.

I don't know why.. Please help.

I got an error saying that GD type patches shouldn't have APP_VER entry so I went into the sfo and deleted APP_VER entry and got the blank log and 5 second crash Could you maybe do it for me?

where were you told that and i've never had to do that befor and if u cant get it to work buy a new drive there 50-80 USD

Where was I told what?? I don't have the money

where were u told that u should delete the app_ver

in the log it said it shouldnt be there

well i've never heard of tht before so just try it without doing that
