Is it like the teensy board? I think it is? And no Windows will not recognise it unitl you've programmed it with the software from the site.

There's instruction PDF you can download and then get PSGroove( I assume it's a HEX file if that's why you got the USB) and install it. Not sure if it's what your looking for.
