(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok i have installed the newly released Waninkoko FW and here are my results:

PS3 INSTALLED ON: SLIM 120GB (CECH-2103A)
FIRMWARE INSTALLED ON: 3.55 GEOHOT
NEW FIRMWARE INSTALLATION: SUCCESS
NEW FEATURES: APP_HOME/PS3_GAME FOLDER
BACKUP MANAGER STATUS: WORKING
ANY SIGN OF BRICK: NONE

I think everyone who installs this firmware should just post saying:
1. type of ps3
2. what firmware they installed on
3. success or not

**UPDATE ~~ Ok the way i currently backing up games is like this:
~ Backup using MultiMAN because its fast
~ Load backed up games using Open manager
~ Open manager requires you to have a disk in the drive to load the game

Have a look at the back of your PS3,right by the Switch off button, you should have a bar code type thing.

Check the last Part, it ends in CECH Something.
Check the list again, on the LEFT column you have the models, if its outside the red you should be fine.....but...theres always a risk...

Mine is a CECHL , i am trying it now.

To PS3 Slim users who have been successful: What model number is your ps3?

I have a cech-2001a model and would like to see if my model has been tried before..

Mine is a CECHL too, CECHL04 to be more precise.
It's an 80gig Fat Ps3.

Not sure if i want to take the risk installing this though, i'm on Geohot's CFW.... I don't want a bricked PS3! :bye:

Maybe any time soon someone will release a fully working backup manager for Geohot's fw.

Is the Waninkoko's install process fast, like geohot's 3.55 CFW?
