When a homebrews gets released early in the month I check it out and say, "Oh, I'll download it later for sure." But then 2-3 weeks pass by, and then the thread is lost. Now I know, I can can search for the thread but sometimes the search just doesn't work out. I either forget the name or just to lazy to look for it. Now I don't know about you, but I'm guessing there are more people like me that have this issue. So, I thought of a simple solution! Why not make a thread with all the PS3 homebrews/homebrew updates that were released every month!
Since I thought of the idea two months into the new year, I started from March 2011. SO! Any homebrew before the month of March is not in this thread

Starting March 5, 2011 I will be notifying every thread owner that there thread is being posted in my thread.

This is a little demo for libps3gui by me. It is basically a port of libwiigui by tantric to work with psl1ght.

To compile it, you need psl1ght,
tiny3d, libfreetype, libvorbis, libmpg123, libaudioplayer, and libogg (this is made to work with the current versions as of 3/19/2011, but hopefully wont be broken by future versions ).

The connect4 engine was written by Keith
Pomakis.

It is intended to be used with the cursor (press L3 and use the left analog
stick to move around), but it should be mostly functional just using the d-pad.

As with libwiigui, it is licensed under GPLv2.

DOSBox-0.74-ps3-r1

Issues:
There are still some performance bottlenecks. In testing cycle values above 10000 provided the most issues. Tweaking some values in dosbox-0.74.conf may help to improve performance.
There are still some usability issues with the on screen keyboard. If a lot of typing is necessary you may consider hooking up a physical one.
Using the fluidsynth midi synth requires a soundfont is sf2 format. Place the file on the PS3 and edit dosbox-0.74.conf to set the value 'midiconfig' to the full path to the file. It's also necessary to change the 'mididevice' option to the value 'synth'.
There is currently no PS3 optimized loader. The DOS commands needed to launch the game need to be type every time you start the app. You can reduce the typing by adding common lines to the dosbox config file's autoexec section.

Current Feature List:
-Stealthed pkg file works on all firmware versions (3.15, 3.41, 3.55) including GH 3.55

-Supports all pkg files

-Supports run time arguments so you can open this program with a file or even automate it

-Grabs the GameIDs and homebrew names automatically

-Creates the -conf files automatically

-Creates the stealth pkg automatically

-Adds an additional user specified file if selected

-Can sign the file automatically if selected (3.55GH mainly)

-Pause checkbox allows manual modification of files before pkg'ing

-Works on Virtual Machines, runs with .net 3.5

Known Issues:
-Some virus protection programs don't like it.

This is because it creates all dependency files during run time, and some virus protection programs don't like exe files appearing from thin air. If this happens to you, please add the dir this utility is stored in to your excluded list in your virus scanner.

Coming Soon:-Automatic modification of ini files (like the ones in MultiMan)
-Automatically change MultiMan's log cleaning setting

First is Unpkg GUI (Windows Program requires .NET) and second is Allunpkg (Command Line version) both will decrypt and extract ALL pkg files with the exception of firmware PKG files. Instead of having to use different applications to deal with different pkg types, these applications will detect what's what and handle it accordingly. Major props goes to Blazie151 for making most of the app [Im on TeamSOS too, just not as good as Blazie + he did most of it]

It works flawlessly and I'm very impressed with it.

It's $5 from BigBoss (through Cydia) - although, I'm sure other repositories have it too

No more clunky IR keyboard, and no need for me to buy the Keyboard attachment

If you're looking for something like this then go get it. I give it a full 10/10.

Here is a screen (not from my phone)

To compile it, you need psl1ght,
tiny3d, libfreetype, libvorbis, libmpg123, libaudioplayer, and libogg (this is made to work with the current versions as of 3/19/2011, but hopefully wont be broken by future versions ).

The connect4 engine was written by Keith
Pomakis.

It is intended to be used with the cursor (press L3 and use the left analog
stick to move around), but it should be mostly functional just using the d-pad.

As with libwiigui, it is licensed under GPLv2.

Everyone who installed this manager, including myself, did so blindly, we didn't check to see the differences between it and multiMAN, in the image below, is a comparison between Venix and multiMAN, in Venix you see two folders, one which says CFW and one that says OFW, no both those folders have two files each, which are
category_game.xml
and
nas_plugin.sprx
From viewing my console, it is not apparent what these files may have changed, or if in fact they have changed anything at all, they could have detrimental effects to the console, who knows, but just be careful in future...

You do not have to create an account and you will be able to see all the parties on the same page. The rooms are not divided by country and games, running the games on one single page. XBSlink is available for windows and linux. It works with the Xbox 360, PS3, and PS2.

This is an update to the ‘Package Manager 0.9 – Installer’ NOT ‘Package Manager’ to make it a little safer by putting in some measures to avoid accidental end-user errors when installing.

Package Manager is a replacement for the standard ★ Install Package Files option under ‘Game’ in the XMB for both 3.41 and 3.55 firmware. It allows for the install and deletion of .pkg files from ‘dev_hdd0/packages’, ‘dev_usb/packages’ and the standard ★ Install Package Files locations. In addition to this, your downloaded PSN content will appear under this menu instead of cluttering your ‘Game’ menu with uninstalled content.
INSTALLATION:
1: Download the ‘Package Manager 0.9 – Installer 1.1′ package and install it on your PS3.
2: Run ‘Package Manager 0.9 – Installer’ and choose your option.
NOTE: (Rebug and OFW/CFW have slightly different icons in their RCO’s. THIS IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO OPTIONS BELOW FOR EACH FIRMWARE)
3: The installer will AUTO EXIT when it is finished. (It can in rare circumstances take upto a few minutes.. BE PATIENT)
