How to Download & Install games from PSNStuff
(I know you may already know how but I've seen some people asking for help on how to do it so I decided to do this thread)
First step
Download ReactPSN or PSNPatch If you don't have them
Basics of ReactPSN
Basic function:
Create aa user and run reActPSN to generate PSN license from USB/exdata.
Button basic:
[X] pressing and holding X button for 8 seconds when launching reActPSN.
[L1] Reinstall RAPs&EDATs from USB0/exdata or USB1/exdata fold.
[L2] Backup RAPs&EDATs to USB/reActPSN/pubPSN/rapxxxedatxxx.zip.
[R1] Backup reg&rif&edat to USB/reActPSN/BKxxxx.zip.
[R2] Backup full fixed NPD files to /USB/reActPSN/FixedPSN.
[O] Fix PSone/PSPminis/THEME & generate C00 activation edat license.
[X] Batch installs PS2 ISO from USBorHDD/PS2ISO. Flawlessly same as PSN pkg install.
[/\] Fix PSN retail to free.stag1:fix all eboot and start hook,play,stag2:fix sprx edat etc.
[SQUARE] Same as [/\], it try to search all files and run slowly.
[/\+R2] Fix PSN and make all NPD FIX pkg to USB/. Same as PSN crack patch.
[R2+L2] Make only 'Fixedby reActPSN' NPD FIX pkg to USB/ or HDD0/packages.
[R2+L1] Make all files FIX pkg to USB/ or HDD0/packages. make sure have enough freespace.
[R1+L2] Make retail NPDRM files pkg to USB/ or HDD0/packages.
[R1+L1] Make retail all files pkg to USB/ or HDD0/packages. make sure have enough freespace.
(RIGHT) 8 seconds CEX2DEX&
EX2CEX.(DOWN) Patch VSH to run reActPSN.
(LEFT) Disable/Enable all users rif license(remove/restore act.dat).
Basics of PSNPatch
When PSNPATCH starts, it will search for the first valid user account (usually it will be '1', but it can be a different value). Again: a VALID USER ACCOUNT (you must have a valid psn login or create one).
Place RAPs and/or EDATs in the folder configured in PSNPATCH.cfg (usually /dev_usb0/exdata/ in a usb stick placed on the right most ps3 port).
Press:
L1 - a log will be displayed on-screen listing the processed games by file type.
UP/DOWN to change the USB port where to get the RAPs and EDATs.
LEFT/RIGHT to select the user account where to install.
- Note 1: Advisable not process more than 20 files at the same time (if you sign more, they may not appear in the log).
- Note 2: Once the RAPs and EDATs are installed, you can remove them from the USB stick.
- Note 3: RAPs and EDATs are installed in one user account but available to all users.
- Note 4: RAPs are installed with the current IDPS (original or spoofed) and will work ONLY with that IDPS active!
Second step
After thats downloaded & installed go to your computer and start PSNStuff.
After that go to the game you want to download.
Now, if it doesn't say "Save RAP" then it's a unlockable game.
But if it says "Save RAP" then it's a normal PS3 game.
Now before you download your game make sure to click "Save RAP"!
After you click it then start downloading the game.
Third step
When the game is done downloading go to your PSNStuff folder in your PC and go to your "exdata" folder.
Connect a External Hard Drive or a USB.
On your USB create a folder called "exdata".
Now from your PSNStuff exdata folder move your RAP to the exdata folder on your USB.
Now your game will be on the root of the PSNStuff folder, move it to the root of your USB or External Hard Drive.
If the game is to big you will need to split it using the splitter from PSNStuff.
Fourth step
Connect your USB or External Hard Drive to your PS3.
Go to Install Packages.
And Install your game.
When it's done installing go to PSNReact (make sure you have a user called "aa")
Press "L1+X" to install the RAP or EDAT.
Now start the game
If it works you're good!
But if it doesn't go to ReactPSN and while launching press "O" now it should work!
If doesn't either you will need to use "PSNStuff"
Go to PSNStuff
When it loads up press L1 to install the RAP or EDAT.
Now it should work perfectly!
