I checked the compatible list on customjailbreak websit,
And my version is on the list as compatible.
They have surveys but I never get to the end
where I can download the jailbreak.
Does any one know a working jailbreak for my version
Without the use of hardware, just usb/flash transfer?
Currently I have downloaded some homebrew apps
On my ps3 like: mulitMan, psn patch, FTP, cobra,
Psn ninja, game pkg, and some other.
But when I go to open them, I get a message saying,
"An Error occurred during the start operation (80010017)".
Can any one help please??

You need a e3flasher to downgrade the PS3 to 3.55 ofw then install a CFW.

I'm guess your PS3 is a slim.

Can't downgrade to 3.55 on that model.
