(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I loaded up my PS3 and it said something like your file system is corrupted. Ps3 will restore. Something like that. But why did this happen and how do i fix it and is it a Brick?

Same happened to me. You need a new hard drive i put the one from my old laptop into my ps3 and then it formatted then it said my system was on 2.70 after that just install the 3.55 OFW then install which jailbreak you want

Yea sounds like a HDD issue bud. As stated I would start there.

If you upgrade your HDD will my CFW change? I got a fat ps3 on CFW and a slim on OFW. If i upgrade my fat one will the cfw uninstall? Because the slim one is on 4.70 OFW please someone answer plz

I did upgrade my hdd and I am positive your CFW did not change. 😏

However, if you upgrade your hdd, I think you will lose your CFW as I may have lost my CFW when I upgraded my ps3. Furthermore, when I changed mine out, I had all my CFW's ready to start from scratch. No big deal. Don't have to worry about having to reflash anything though. Ps3 will still be jailbroke.
