Alright, i have a ps3 and i dont advise doing this on any console. the simple reason is it has been patched in a way that will corrupt your whole game save data and will not allow you to play CoD on the console you glitched on unless you delete your game save and start again, or get one from google or wherever, i actully tried this to see if it had been patched, and this is what happend several times. so you are doing this at your on risk. you have been warned.

I defeated!
i did this and it didnt work.
1.You have to be lvl 65(prestige or no doesnt matter)
2.go to Barracks and click "prestige mode"
3.keep clicking yes more info and whatever till it goes to the end
4.go to next prestige than wait two secs and unplug ethernet cable quick
5.shut off ps3
6.replug ethernet cable and start cod5
i shouldve been the next prestige and level 65 but i wasnt i was the same as before

yeah i made another account and glitched it to 9th last week; i also did it for a friend. You just have to do it right; when ppl do it wrong they cry and say its patched; dont believe them; you just need a decent wired connection. been playing fine.

so can someone telll me who has done this glitch is it patched or not? is there some decent tutorial out there? what if it doesnt work any risks? i dont mind if im on the next pretge lvl1 i just dont want to be banned or have soemthing so i cant play cod anymore
