Lazard Capital analyst Colin Sebastian doesn't think we'll be seeing a PS3 price-cut in 2008. He points to the fact that Sony wants to turn a profit from their games division again and a price cut would make this impossible for the time being.
Sony Games sales were up 26% over last year, but they still lost money. They plan to sell 10 million PS3s in 2008, which would double its worldwide install base.
This doesn't matter, however, as all the cool kids have 60gb PS3s with full backwards compatibility. I'm gonna start an internal console war between the different PS3 owners. 40gb sux lol.
