I was told it was an 80gb 4usb non backwards compatible but when I got home I found out it was a 60 gb launch edition and was backwards compatible. What I have heard was these system are very rare because they discontinued them because so many got ylod. Luckily I did buy the year warranty so what's your guys opinions keep it or take it back. I get another console if it breaks so.

4usb should of told you right away that it's backwards compatible ps3. Well, if you still have your PS2 games then keep. That would only be my reason to keep.

Depends if you play PS2 games or not the support is iffy at best.
Still you have a nice console I would have stuck with the xbox that only due to XBL. Can't go wrong with both consoles. Now the time to play all the games you missed as you save up for a PS4.

also decided to go with the 80 instead of the 60 gb is because i am going to downgrade the 80 gb to 3.55 and i heard the cecha01 cant be downgraded with e3 flasher because it is nand memory.

is the 60 gb and 80 gb same price or did they charger you more for the larger hdd?
