However, the cheat for Unlocking All Costumes And Difficulty's does not work for me on DMC 1.

It says "New Game Only"

But even when I select new game, there is no options to select difficulty or costumes like there should be?

Am I missing something?

i noticed on a few other forums people are trying to use the codes on a Placeholder save . seems to only hold settings

so i did some testing .
as long as i played the game and saved in the actual game then used the codes everything seem to have worked fine . this goes for all versions .. this issue was also on the ps3 version this is what originally made me check

so before use of the codes you should have least 1 Save slot filled. this goes for the unlocks it just means that in the other slots the stuff will also be unlocked . and u can start a new game ..
let me know if this fix your issues if so we can send the info to SW it might simply been an oversight
