[Full Tut]: Set up an ESP8266 for PS4 5.05

(Added PS4 HEN v1.8 + Kouba v6 offline!)

 

 

Hello, I will offer my help to configure an ESP8266 for PS4 5.05.

 

Thanks to an ESP8266 you will need more internet or PC to launch the exploit and you can then keep your hack without having an ESP because the page of the exploit will be cached in your console so here it is: C ' is the simplest and most effective solution if you are in 5.05 !!!

 

To set up an ESP8266 for PS4 in 5.05 it's simple:
Already have an ESP that you can find right here (if you already had one not worth it: P):

 

1st choice (This is the one I took for my PS4) (8.99e):

in the purchase go in version and selected NodeMcu v3
 
You can easily plug it into your PS4 with the cable you used to plug in your PS4 DualShock4 controller (so no worries)

A / CONFIGURING THE ESP8266 AND INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE ON THE COMPUTER

 

- First of all install the driver (also calls a driver) from ESP8266 for the PC: https://www.wch.cn/do...ds/file/65.html

The "Driver" will allow the PC to recognize the ESP8266 is very IMPORTANT!

 

- Then download the 505.bin from Kouba right here: https: //www40.zippys...yRpQt/file.html

its name is normally: Menu.Kouba.v6.offline.bin
(And yes, today is the v6 update eh!

- Then download NodeMCU-PyFlasher-3.0-x64.exe to flash the ESP8266 and install it on your Windows PC (or download NodeMCU-PyFlasher-3.0.dmg for MacOS)

as soon as it is hooking up your ESP8266 to your PC (It will detect it finally with the software NodeMCU-PyFlasher-3.0!)

 

As soon as you can, you can launch your software: double click on NodeMCU-PyFlasher-3.0-x64.exe

 

Then the NodeMCU PyFlasher window will open

Go into Serial Port you will have the choice with several COM depending on the one that your PC will propose you I put like COM3 after as you want if the COM3 do not propose you choose in one until its successful to flash your ESP8266

Then in NodeMCU firmware put the Kouba bin you have to download Menu.Kouba.v4f.bin by clicking Browse

In Baud rate leave 115200

In flash mode put Dual I / O (DIO) it's the 2nd

And in Erase flash (this menu will be useful if you have already flash your ESP8266)

If you have never flashed click on no
If you've already flashed it to replace the .bin click on yes, wipes all data

And press Flash NodeMCU

and wait for it to finish, as soon as it is finished removing your ESP8266 from your PC

 

and plugged it into your PS4 ONLY if you've NEVER recorded an offline cached exploit in your PS4! And go to step C /

 

For those who have already registered an exploit in offline cache their PS4 DO NOT CONNECT YOUR ESP8266 to your console and go to step B /

 

Note: How to know how if the flash of the ESP8266 and finished?

Waiting for "Done" to be written in NodeMCU-PyFlasher-3.0-x64.exe as soon as it says "Done" you can unplug your ESP8266 and plug it into USB on your PS4

B / DELETE THE EXPLOIT THAT IS SAVED IN CACHE IN OFFLINE TO PUT A NEW

 

This part only concerns what has already registered a cached exploit in their consoles

 

Before plugging in your ESP8266 make sure you clear the cached exploit in your PS4 ... I'll explain how to do that

To erase it like this:

 

Go to the "Internet Browser" (with the icon w.w.w) in the menu of your PS4

 
As soon as you are in the Browser to clear the exploit cache offline
 
Press with your joystick to press "Options" then in "Settings" then in "Delete the data of the Web site"
then in "Delete cookies" and press "OK"
 
It is good the exploit in cache has been erased you can install it the offline V6 of Kouba with the hen 1.8
 

Once finished, remove your ESP8266 from your PC and plug it into your PS4
