Did you get the optional objective for killing 2 platoons with one cannon? Aim in the middle, all the way back where they spawn. Look at your white aim circle, and when the enemies are close enough, shoot and you should get the objective and the trophy
Done that multiple times and it still doesnt pop
The same thing happened to me however i just loaded up save that you get from finishing sequence 9 and started sequence 10 and play-through until i got to that memory and got it.
I might have earned the trophy on the save, so when i did the restart checkpoint to backup the save, it didn't reset the trophy being unlocked. Tried to backup before every trophy unlocked for this exact reason.

all the kill trophies for the episodes you have to get yourself as they are already unlocked on the save (i tried the eagle trophy and it didn't unlock) they don't take that long to unlock honestly.

I got it after unlocking it. I tried making a save for it, but it didn't work. You unlock the ability around mission 2-3 I think. I got the trophy in the 100% and boss kill saves. But not in the unexpected gift save, because it's before you get ability.
