Post: PS4 Themes WONT Be Coming in Firmware Update 2.00

So far, we know that PlayStation 4 firmware update 2.00 will add Share Play, “highly requested broadcast and video share features,” and the What’s New section will be enhanced with “real-time activity through friend-of-friend suggestions, allowing instant access to friends’ and recently played games’ broadcasts, and a real name search function.”
Teasing that there will be more features in 2.00 during their original announcement, it appears as though PlayStation Social Media Manager Sid Shuman and PlayStation Social Media Specialist Justin Massongill leaked on the PlayStation Blogcast that themes would be coming in the update when they discussed gamescom:
Sid: “And then there was the system software update 2.00…”
Justin: “Which is going to bring a lot of cool new stuff…”
Sid: ” A lot of stuff…”
Justin: “Including themes to your PS4!”
Sid: “Themes… PS4 getting YouTube support – not only an app, but you’ll be able to broadcast on to YouTube using that Share button.”

I just don't understand, why is a console that is supposed to be more powerful doing less than a 8 year old console? Cmon Sony... This isn't 2006, we should be asking for things a lot more advanced than a theme or getting notification when your friends get online.

Something that is EXTREMELY simple to do, yet they just can't seem to pull it off. They're too worried about Multi-media shit that no one really cares about, too worried about trying to make the PS4 a PAndora/iHeartRadio/Youtube/Netflix/tv machine instead of for gaming.

See exactly. I don't care about Youtube, NetFlix, etc on my PS4. That's not why it was bought.
