(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i edited a W@W and COD4 patch i edited and saved it and compressed it i click multiplayer and it says loading... over and over and over the DISC is clean it has always worked until i did this my friend has a patch he said lets edit it so we edited the text (WE ASKED HE SAID IT WAS OK) but we edited the patch and went through cafm re uploaded it and it says loading on the game D= why is this so hard to do its something SO EASY to do and its SO HARD TO DO HELP!D=

You more than likely either messed up the editing or the compression...i highly doubt it's because of a 'dirty disk'. Also did you put the patches in the right directory?
