I understand everything people have said about they worked for it and earned it and it shouldn't be leaked. But if it were to be patched isn't that part of hacking/ modding trying to find new ways around things, it could lead to something bigger etc. Look at sony who got rid of other os as geohot said he had hacked the ps3 system then few months later a jailbreak was released. I do agree they worked for it but i do also see modding as a challange
