Confirmed working on ; BCUS98114 ; BCES00569
- Borrow a friend's car in-game.
- Savegame --> USB --> PC.
- Download link above, extract folder from zip, Start the .exe
- Enter the PSN of the savegame.(Case Sensitive)
- Select your save game location.
- Click "Steal Car"
- Savegame --> USB --> PS3
- Start GT5

It sounds like you took the .exe out of the folder it was in.
You must run the application in the folder, it is depending on those files being in the folder with it.

Copy the savegame to your PC, some USB keys have very slow seek/write times.
The application presumes your computer can decrypt the file in just a few milliseconds.

UPDATE:
I've included msvcr100.dll in the application folder.
I also changed some code which might fix the incorrect "PSN not found" error.

The GT Academy cars have nothing to do with the GT Academy Edition - they were part of the GT Academy "side game" competition that ran somewhere around mid-2012. Furthermore, the saves for the standard, XL Edition, and GT Academy Edition should all be the same. It would be pointless if they introduced different save file for each disk.

so at first i couldnt get it then i did and i used it twice, now i cant use it. something pops up saying " unhandled exception has accurred in your application " what am i doing wrong? i put my USB in after i saved my stuff from my ps3 then i open this and go to computer,usb,ps3,savedata,& my game save then i click steal car and that pops up. & yes i put my ID in correctly.

I have installed different versions, I installed the framework still didn't work, ran it again it did repairs, and still to no avail. Stuck here..

Usually a reboot of your pc after frameworks install will get the correct files in order. Did you try the path I laid out on page 10? are you still getting the same errors as before after installing frameworks?

The error changed to Unable to find a version of run time to run the application after I repaired the framework. Deleted the app rebooted downloaded still no change. Tried a few times nothing. I'm not to sure as to what you mean by the path you laid out but I did go over page 10 a few times but yea nothing's working for me.
