As long as Sony cannot prove there was code, or Proprietary technology or information they will not be able to BAN the units.

They can just patch it because they have hold of the mod chips so they can easily just patch it.

It is not that easy, it this is doingthe same function as their own Jig, they can BAN and Block it, but the code was written by its developers to emulate the same thing then SONY has to back off because of Free enterprise laws.
