Ballerman if ANYTHING using 4.70 is going to be safer because it dosent require a spoofer and thats what was getting everyone banned all the time. Theres no evidence of this claim as everyones saying luck of the draw mate...

Same thing happend to me. Upgraded to rebug 4.70, used psnpatch, tried to login aaand account got suspended. But it doesn't matter my cid is still alive.

this what i say,after u install.boom many guys got account banned.

Did you guys remove your spoofer before changing firmware to 4.70? Cause I believe they are detecting homebrew stuff like the spoofer.
I have been on 4.70.1 and just use webman, I have no other homebrew stuff on my XMB, no bans at all.
I also did 8 recoveries last night and booted up fine, no bans.
So it is not the firmware at all bro.

Did a fresh install no spoofer, only psnpatch, irismanager and webman mod.

update - one of my accounts is now banned. im not sure why, but i had not used it since updating to 4.70.1 and now i try it its banned. not sure what user number it is.
