(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just curious what people's temperatures were on their PS3. I got in an argument with some guy the other day because I told him not to spread thermal paste as it creates air bubbles. Granted his temps were 72c/82c and his ps3 sounded like a jet engine, he was most likely on an older model PS3.

Model number? CECH-2501A (40nm RSX)
Idle temps? 48c/48c
In game? 55c/57c
Fresh thermal paste? Arctic silver 5, pea sized dot on the rsx and cpu, let the pressure of the heatsink spread it.
Fan speed? 36%

Make sure webman is enabled in rebug toolbox. Open XMB and press Select + R3

That is a blatant Lie auto at 72 Actually it's set for 72c so the fan never goes in ludacris mode. Fan is set always run at 36%, rather quite too. I use webman for the dynamic fan controller. I never see temps higher than 55c/57c after gaming for several hours. if anyone buys that I have a bridge to sell you.

Why would I lie? I gain nothing from lying. I bent the heatsink clamps so it puts adequate pressure against the heatsink and heat spreader. It's also standing vertical.

Here is a picture after three hours.

Please explain how or what version of Web-man your using also I set max temp 60c witch is 86 below ylod n 20 below any issue's. Not too mention you can rebuild ur database with fan speeds operational. I see your on D-Rex ? I find that firmware constrictive. As per ITA 4.65 I absolutely love, maybe there is a difference? However I recommend giving ITA a shot, It takes 30 mins tops. Also your right there so you can change your Mac address. Watch a tutorial but use the hex editor method. Sorry for calling u a liar that wasn't cool.

Also curios Cobra 0.0 n No Max Temp. I tried Rebug n I saw that as well ?

I use the default webman that comes with Rebug. Ita is old and outdated. You can install it from recovery if you're QA flagged. So in theory it would take about 5 minutes to do. 0.0 Cobra because my syscalls are disabled. Can still run all my games disc less.

I'm just saying in general, I refuse to run any games on disc.
