Agreed, I've tried searching online of how to go about retrieving the I/D, but it just seems too confusing!!
Is there anyone who CAN help?

I got this working in BruteForce, someone updated the games.conf file with the secure file I/D but they've added extra digits making the resigning process not work properly. This is what it looks like in the games.conf folder;
; "CSI: Fatal Conspiracy"
[BLUS30549/NPUB30806/BLES00972]
;disc_hash_key=
secure_file_id:TTG.TOC=102C1C0F33444E9A57089A714DB001FE
And this is what it SHOULD look like;
; "CSI: Fatal Conspiracy"
[BLUS30549/NPUB30806/BLES00972]

secure_file_id:*=102C1C0F33444E9A57089A714DB001FE
Open up the games.conf within the BruteForce settings and change the the letters highlighted in red with a '*' symbol and it should work perfectly.
Does anyone know how to update the games.conf permanently?
Because it reverts back to the old file I/D whenever the games.conf gets updated.

Nice one for all your work mate, can't understand why a game like this would bother locking the save, seems bizarre.
Don't have CFW so do you have to hex the filename?
