Ps3 3.72 Cfw - What You Need To Know
First of all
Hey guys my first thread here. (Other than my intro...) hope its a good one :y:
Onto The Subject
Well basically ps3news member "TUHTA" has been working on a Ps3 cfw for 3.73
and he has stated a few things in his thread here is what he actually said.

However, i worked out the Metldr stuff... so i can get below than a factory FW... lets say 3.72 from factory, so i can still get back to 1.00 any console (not sure about slim) but fats just fine.
Another thing is Exploit is actually HARDWARE hole... so it means ITS NON PATCHABLE, like Xbox 360 glitch.. or some.
Great deal is , you can figure the PSN phrase in the future, so lets say sony updated the FW and you don't have new CFW, just generate new PSN phrase and you are ready to go! Its like to be online on 3.55 CFW while psn requires 3.72.
So i wrote too much, anyway need people who interested in helping.. End users you are welcome, everything that happens in the Scene is for you!

Here he states that with his exploit you can figure out the phrase needed to go online with that firmware I have seen mathieulh talking about that a while ago on his twitter,so basically if ur on 3.41 cfw u can go online. (HELLO BLACK OPS HACKS)

also Iv been watching this guy BEFORE he posted the video on youtube he just used that to back him up,when this guy releases it,il be expecting an apoligy.

well if he cant and dont thats fine but if he does you might bite it when he release it. i think i found a new way to get the keys and the rest of the stuff that we need to be online with but i need some hard ware for the key hack it might be the same way dude got the key and pass phrase. i need to go back to school for a little more befor i can do the rest of this on my own. but yea if this is true what hes said then way to go man but u need to release it soon before they add more updates just a idea or give it to a the rebug team they can really help you send them the file and ask them not to release it in till its done. and ask them to poke around with it we will all get there soon enough people need to share their info that all may work of the same problems we need new cfw good shit guys if it is true

Geohot stated that 3.55 was 'unpatchable' due to games not working if sony changed keys, yet sony changed keys and the games worked :confused: Sony built the Ps3, so even if there are smart devs on the scene, sony would know how to patch it, because they built the PS3 in the first place. They know more about the PS3 than anybody else, so really no once can assume that it's 'unpatchable'. Just makeing a statement here btw, not flamming
