You should be fine. Unless I'm mistaken there's no difference on PS4. All PS4 versions of Dark Souls 2 are Scholars of the First Sin. Regardless, even back on PS3, the only difference between the PS3 vanilla and Scholars versions were the DLC and patch, same trophy list and everything, and save files from vanilla worked fine if you updated to Scholars via patch and DLC.
