Use the brand of the car you intend to hack, because the little icon in the thumbnail that indicates brand will stay. So if you build the Nissan Stealth with a Mazda car, the Thumbnail for the Nissan Stealth will have a Mazda Logo on it. Use the same brand to keep the Logo matching.
After you swapped the parts and they have been applied with GTAuto, exit the game and load up in garage editor and change the name of the car to whatever stealth model your building and it will be an exact copy, literally no way to tell it apart fro the real thing.
Delete the car that wont let you drive it, waist of time on that car, if it wont delete (first try on both the thumbnail, and on the car rotating page where you have the option to get in it),then you can swap on a regular civic body and sell it. Find it in your save game (check both GT5.0 and GT5.1 if you have both) doing a body code search and then confirm its legit with the rest of the car data, and copy over the body of a civic to it, then go sell it.
