(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well hello guys it's me here, bringing you the most hardest save editor I have ever made. :troll:
This save has literally more encryption than a Black Ops Fast File :P

This tool will help you mod your Red Dead Redemption saves for Multiplayer, Single Player, And Zombies.

This save editor works for both PS3 and xbox.
For xbox it requires you to extract it from the CON file.
Then you can use my save editor to mod it. Happy

The tool will help you mod different structs from your save..

This tool is not recommended for noobs, since it involves hex editing.

You must login or register to view this content.

You must login or register to view this content.

As you can see above this... the picture includes all the structs contained in the save file.
To mod the different structs you need to Extract them by right clicking the item you want to mod.

In this case I want to mod the experience or level of my player
You must login or register to view this content.
Ok Choose the destination you want to save the file.
After you extracted it, go to the file and open it in a hex editor.
Go to the offset 0x7A1 and the value is going to be a float.

You can find a online converter on google by searching float to hex should be the first on that pops up.
In this case I want to be in level 50.

So I go to You must login or register to view this content.

and then paste it
You must login or register to view this content.

Save the file.

Now go back to my tool then make sure you replace the one you extracted or else it's going to corrupt the save.
You replace by right clicking and press Replace.

And then you Save All.

Then it should work.

If you find any bugs or something please contact ASAP. Private message me or quote me

This requires Framework 4.5, so please download it because then the application will not open.

If you get any kind of errors please tell me.

Well thanks for reading the thread and have a good modding day Happy

That will work. It technically cannot be patched, for the PS3 will think the save is yours (or in this case, your friend's), when in fact, it is not.

I'll make sure to go in detail with my own procedure as well as others who have tried this save editor for themselves on my friend's list.
Operating Systems: PS3 3.55 CFW (no reliable Rebug Spoofer available yet) and PS3 OFW 4.46
Procedure when using save editor:
1. Send my save to a USB flash drive.
2. Open RDR Save editor
3. Input desired level, rank (legend), type of weapons, and Mount.
4. Save the edited file.
5. Send to USB then upload to Playstation 3.
6. Start RDR and go to multiplayer
7. RDR claims that this is my first time entering multiplayer.
8. Save is reset with absolutely nothing(I have back-ups of my save before)
Other Notes:
I tested well over a dozen different things. I would delete the patches on both systems and enter multiplayer via lan receiveing the same message. I would try decrypting the save prior to using save editor, then reencrypt afterwords, but still have a reset save. I would input the desired level, rank, gold/not, or mount each by hex editing instead of beta, still no luck. I would try doing just 1 single edit, but reset once again. Finally I tested out doing absolutely no edits at all, but saving the file. After doing this, I was also reset.

I looked into this a few different ways. I created an absolutely new RDR multiplayer save. Then I sent it to the USB and looked at it with a hex editor. After doing this, I took a look at one of my reset saves and realized it was the same exact thing. I then start searching for xbox saves. I downloaded a xbox save off of youtube and input everything I typically would've done with the PS3, but I made a duplicate so I can compare the two saves when I was finished. After editing, I compared the saves and found this: The new Xbox save was in fact different from the original save I used. I was puzzeled, then irritated, so I decided to go to desperate measures.

I had 4 other experienced people, who have used save editors in the past on their PS3, edit their saves and try to use this editor. Each and every one of them failed and experienced the same result as I did priorly. After seeing this I had one test it on their xbox 360, and that individual successfully edited their save.

My conclusion to this is that the editor does not support PS3 systems (at least not yet). I'm looking forward to any updates if any at all. Thanks for taking the time to read this error report.

Unless you were mistaken and meant that you edited the save with this save editer, realize this is a save editor. The difference is that you can edit and pick and choose what you'd like instead of having to use someone's max level save. I've also tested out 3 different save resigners while trying to use this save editer (Bruteforce, KG's Save Resigner v1.2, and Xploder), which all resulted in a reseted multiplayer save.

They seem to check your multiplayer save.. if it isn't the same as the old one, it gets reset.

Could you send me your PS3 multiplayer save with the undead horse? I can easily decrypt and resign the save.

Since when do they RESET the multiplayer save? I don't get it. I used to take someone else's RDR MP saves on xbox ALL THE TIME, and then rehash/resign it..and it would work JUST FINE...

I'm so CONFUSED.
